Back from NRA
Well, we made it back safely from the National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show in Chicago, and it was great! Thank you to our customers that stopped by the booth to say hi, and it was nice to meet everyone new.NRA is our biggest show of the year, and it's the longest. For four days, we served up some fantastic meat (we had many repeat eaters), and I've got to say, the beef strip loin was my favorite out of the brisket, pork butts, and salmon that we also served. We smoked the strip loins in our booth, and we just dusted them with a little Spicy Chicken Rub and then smoked them for 2 1/2 hours at 275ºF with some hickory pellets. It's nice to be able to show people that, yes, these pits produce outstanding barbecue, but look at what else you can do! You can do high end items or traditional barbecue, and it's really easy either way. That's the great thing about a trade show, you can actually taste the product, see the smokers up close, and talk to one of our experts in person. If you didn't make it to NRA, we exhibit at shows across the country year long, so check out our show schedule to find one in your area.
